The Old Stables opened in June 2018 and is situated on the edge of the owners’ livery yard, which houses ponies and horses. What was once an old horse stable has been converted into what is now a luxurious & contemporary holiday let, retaining much of its period charm and features. It has two bedrooms (one king and one zip & link), a family bathroom, downstairs toilet and sleeps 4.

The kitchen/Diner is spacious, bright and well equipped with a built in electric hob and oven, microwave, American style fridge freezer with filtered water dispenser and ice maker, full size dishwasher and washer/dryer combination. There are large French doors leading into the garden area.

Then there are 3 steps down to a spacious open plan living area which has electric reclining sofas, a SMART TV with Full Sky TV, Netflix, PS4 and Wii to keep all the family happy! Downstairs offers underfloor heating ran off air source heating, making it nice and cosy during those chillier days.

The bedrooms are marvellously cosy with crisp cotton sheets and Freeview TV in each of the two bedrooms. One Bedroom offers a King bed whilst the other is a Zip & Link so can be made up as two 3-foot singles or one Super king bed. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes with hangers and shelves and more storage is available under the beds if needed too. Please note: there is room in the bedrooms for travel cots but they may need to be in front of the built in wardrobe doors. 

Upstairs there is a modern family bathroom to share which has a lovely modern shower/bath, toilet sink, and a shaver socket and mirror! It has underfloor heating in those winter months and don’t worry there is a downstairs toilet too! 

Outside, the fully enclosed garden boasts a patio area with a private hot tub and outside table and chairs, along with a grass area at the top of the garden. Please note the garden is on three different levels.

There is dedicated parking for one car, but don't worry if you need to bring more, there is plenty of room to park very close by just let us know before hand!
