Tablet
Not only will this tablet have all the information you need whilst staying with us (hopefully!), it can also be used for Netflix, Prime Video/Films, to play music through the sound system in the kitchen/dining area via the radio apps (It should be already connected – but if not just select this in the bluetooth settings), browsing the internet (Please just make sure if you sign into anything such as facebook etc it’s your responsibility to sign back out before the next guests arrive), and playing games on. If you could just ensure the safety of this.
Hot tub
On arrival we will have emptied & cleaned the hot tub, cleaned the filters, filled the tub with fresh water and added and tested the chemical dosage. Its now your responsibility to maintain the hot tub for the duration of your stay. Instructions on how to do this can be found here should you need them. Chemicals can be found in the cupboard above the sink should they be required (Please keep away from children and animals).

Please note: On your arrival you may note the hot tub isn't quite up to temperature, it's nothing to worry about.
Rubbish Bins
Rubbish bins can be found on the left hand side of the property as you face the front, under the lean to. Black bin is general rubbish and green is recycling. Dog waste bags must also go into the black bin.

Heating
The heating is air source which is eco friendly with underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs.
The airsource unit outside the back door, there is no need to do anything with this but please make sure you do not block this or cover with anything as it needs the airflow. This will turn on and off as it needs and is just like hearing a fan.
There is an internal unit under the stairs. You DO NOT need to touch this… It will automatically heat up the hot water as you use it and will automatically turn on when required (Please note it takes around 1hour to heat up the tank from empty). You will only need to adjust the thermostats (Upstairs and downstairs) if needed.
This is located in the right hand bedroom, on the wall next to the cupboard. During the summer we advise this to be set at 15 degrees and in the winter 18 degrees. If required, to adjust simply turn this to the desired temperate. Please note, airsource is eco friendly and its designed to keep the temperature of the room at the desired level 24/7 so please don’t keep turning it up or down. If you do feel a bit cool, please only put up a degree or two at a time and vice versa.
This is located on the wall in the hall way. During the summer we advise this to be set at 15 degrees and in the winter around 20 degrees. Barn
We also have a games room, which can be used at your own risk. There is table tennis and table football in there, along with a table and some chairs should you wish to take drinks in there. If you could please just keep noise levels to a minimum, tidy up any mess, turn the lights off and shut the doors after you have finished! Also don’t let the kids beat the parents!
Appliances
Manuals can be found in the cupboard above the sink in the kitchen, however as a guide the washer/dryer we always recommend you use the ‘eco’ cycle on the dishwasher and the ‘daily 59’ cycle (will need to press the > button once the cycle has been selected to start the cycle) on the washing machine and then use the clothes airer stored under the stairs to dry the clothes outside.
Put a tablet in the dishwasher and press the start button, when the dishwasher is running it will show a red light underneath on the floor. It will show a light when it requires more dishwasher salt and rinse aid, which can be found under the sink.
Sound system in the kitchen
There is built in sound system in the kitchen/dining area with DAB Radio. This is located above the kitchen sink. You can also connect your own devices to this through Bluetooth if you prefer.
TV, Playstation & Wii
TV - We have SKY TV so you can download and record films/tv shows, watch films on Netflix& Prime TV (Under the apps button on the Sky Home Screen) and much more. Please do not delete any recordings as they are all linked - We will delete these ourselves but please feel free to watch any that have already been downloaded. Please do not download any premium shows as you will be liable for the cost. View the remote control manual.
Playstation 4 – This can be used for playing on (please be careful & put any games back in the box once finished) and to play DVD’s on. To use simply turn on, and press button 29 (Source) on the TV Remote until you come to HDMI 1.

Wii – To use, simply turn the Wii on and press button 29 (Source) on the TV Remote until you come to BACK AV.
Wii sports is always a good one for the family to play but please make sure you wear the wrist straps as don’t want anyone having any black eyes!! The Wii Instruction manual can be found on the Nintendo Website
