This wonderful, semi-detached barn conversion boasts an enclosed garden and a private own hot tub to enjoy. Situated on the edge of the owner’s livery yard, which houses ponies and horses, the Tack Room has been newly converted during 2020 and 2021, beautifully fusing traditional and contemporary design to offer a very comfortable holiday home. Guests can relax and unwind on the large comfy sofa, or enjoy time sitting out on the patio, maybe even enjoying a tranquil evening under the stars relaxing in the hot tub.
There is excellent walking direct from the doorstep, and miles of footpaths and trails to explore, including local woods, footpaths, and the North Walsham and Dilham Canal, which is a great fishing spot! The Tack Room is within 30 minutes’ drive of excellent sandy beaches along the North Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads, with miles of waterways to explore.

The seaside village of Mundesley, 4 miles, has an excellent sandy beach, and the seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham also have glorious sandy beaches and are host to many attractions. Cromer boasts a pier, with a carnival week (held in August) and, weather permitting, a spectacular New Year’s Day celebration, complete with fireworks. Sheringham is home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash fun pool and Sheringham Gardens.

There are numerous bird sanctuaries, salt marshes and wildlife centres punctuating the region, and the popular RSPB nature and bird reserve can be found near Cley-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Morston. Wroxham, 12 miles, is known as capital of the Norfolk Broads, and daily boat hire and river trips are available from here, as well as riverside cafés, pubs and shops. The surrounding area is a great place to enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities and sports. Bacton Wood, 2 miles, is great for walks and has plenty of picnic opportunities. The market town of North Walsham, 2 miles, has shops, a pub, cafés, a library, a supermarket and a bank, as well as the vast bistro and gourmet eating establishments in the surrounding area.

Enjoy a trip to the city of Norwich, 17 miles, with its castle museum, cathedral, two indoor shopping malls for excellent shopping, a covered market square, as well as a theatre, art galleries, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Places of historical interest and stately homes can be found within easy driving distance, and Blickling Hall boasts open air concerts during the summer season. Children will love Banham Zoo, and the craft centre and play park at Wroxham Barns, as well as the Dinosaur Adventure Park at Lenwade and BeWILDerwood at Horning. The area is very welcoming to pets, many of the local beaches and venues welcome dogs. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
